7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (ankle) is still recovering from a bone bruise, but his manager doesn't think he'll be on the disabled list for long. Manager Dave Martinez indicated before Thursday's game that Eaton is going through knee strengthening exercises and that he'll be back sooner rather than later. Eaton was on a tear to start the season, but he's prone to injuries and doesn't have a long track record of playing more than 125 or so games in a given year. When healthy, however, he's a legitimate four-category contributor that can steal a dozen or so bases.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
