6 years agoThe Chicago White Sox optioned outfielder Adam Engel and pitcher Caleb Frare to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday. A couple of days ago it was expected Engel might stick around as the fourth outfielder, but he is slashing just .212/.281/.346 in 58 plate appearances with the big club. It's uncertain who will be coming up to the big club, but you can safely drop Engel in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues if you were hanging onto him hoping he could finally realize his potential. The White Sox will announce the corresponding roster moves prior to Monday's game in Cleveland.--Daniel Dobish
