Adam Haseley Drives In Two, Steals Base
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Adam Haseley went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in a loss to the Pirates Tuesday. The injuries in the Philadelphia outfield have led to everyday playing time for the rookie, but he remains on the fringes of fantasy relevancy. Haseley is batting just .246 and that is mostly empty batting average as he has just three homers and a .365 slugging percentage. The big issue for Haseley seems to be plate discipline as he strikes out at a 26.7 percent rate compared to a minuscule 4.4 percent walk rate. The plate discipline should come with experience in the Majors and he has prospect pedigree so he should be owned in dynasty formats, but it's hard to see Haseley making a fantasy impact down the stretch this season.
