Adam Haseley Exits With Injury
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Adam Haseley (face) left Tuesday's spring training game with an apparent injury, according to Matt Breen. Haseley injured his face while diving for a ball in the outfield and was removed from the game. Haseley struggled in the majors last season, needing a .344 BABIP just to hit .266, but he is a former first-round pick with a solid track record in the minors and would carry some deep league sleeper appeal if he earns a starting job. Pending the status of his injury, speedster Roman Quinn would be in line to get more repetitions in center field, as he and Haseley are battling for the starting center field job in Philadelphia.
