Adam Humphries Growing Chemistry With Ryan Fitzpatrick
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Adam Humphries has reignited his chemistry with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick after reuniting in Washington. The two previously played together for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and have now found a strong connection over the first few training camp sessions. "Their chemistry was obvious throughout practice, as Fitzpatrick looked for the slot receiver on several plays. Not only did Humphries find ways to get open, but he also worked to get yards after the catch," says Zach Selby of the team's website. Humphries projects to be the third receiver on the depth chart, and could be an intriguing flier in deep leagues with PPR formats. He played in just seven games last season, putting up 23 receptions, 228 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. There probably won't be enough targets for him to have fantasy relevance unless Terry McLaurin or Curtis Samuel were to miss time. Treat him as a late-round stash in 12-14 team leagues.
