Adam Jones Goes Hitless Thursday, July Slump Continues
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones' July woes continued in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Phillies, as he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. Jones has not been able to get it going this month, hitting just .205 in 39 at-bats. Despite the slump, Jones has posted a decent .275 batting average with 10 home runs and 33 RBI on the season, making him worth a look in deep leagues or five-outfielder leagues. However, if he continues to hit like this he may not be worth a roster spot even in those leagues.
