3 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Adam Ottavino saved his 11th game of the season Wednesday, setting down the three Tampa Bay Rays he faced in order with two strikeouts. With Matt Barnes removed from the closer role temporarily, and now out with COVID, Ottavino is the clear top option in the Boston bullpen. He should be added in all formats, with the caveat that Barnes could reclaim the role down the line. Ottavino has a 3.48 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts in 53 innings, so he's far from a perfect option.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
