3 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Adam Ottavino recorded the save in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, coming on in the bottom of the eighth inning and setting down the three Toronto Blue Jays he faced in order with one strikeout. Ottavino now has eight saves on the season to go with his 3.65 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 52 strikeouts in 44 1/3 innings. With 17 holds, he has plenty of value for leagues that reward the category, but otherwise he's just a very valuable handcuff to closer Matt Barnes.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
