7 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Adam Plutko will be called up to make Wednesday's start. Plutko will be taking the rotation spot vacated by Josh Tomlin's move to the bullpen. Plutko made a start earlier this season, tossing 7 1/3 innings of three-run ball. He's been solid in Triple-A so far this season, posting a 2.25 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts in 44 innings. He doesn't have huge upside, but he could be a solid starter in deeper leagues and AL-only.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
