Adam Thielen Absent At Tuesday's Practice
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (ankle) was held out of practice once again on Tuesday, which likely means he will be unavailable for the team's Thursday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers as he rehabs his high ankle sprain. In his absence, Justin Jefferson will remain the clear No.1 option and should see 10+ targets once again. K.J. Osborn will serve as the team's No. 2 option after catching a touchdown in Week 13, while Dede Westbrook also takes on a larger workload. We could see a run-heavy approach from the Vikings offense, especially near the end-zone, as Thielen has been a touchdown machine over the past two seasons. Tyler Conklin could see some more usage near the goal-line in Thielen's absence, which would put him into the lower-end TE1 discussion.
