6 years agoMinnesota Vikings wideout Adam Thielen has yet to catch an in-game pass from new quarterback Kirk Cousins. In Saturday's preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Thielen was targeted three times but each pass wound up incomplete. Thielen and Cousins had a fantastic repertoire with each other throughout training camp, so chemistry is not the issue. Saturday was simply an offensive slop-fest by the Vikings first-team offense. Thielen is still a very good WR2 in fantasy terms, although he will have to share touches with Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph, and Dalvin Cook among others. That is the sole reason why it's hard to give him definite WR1 status, but he should still clear the 140-target plateau.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
