3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright was excellent again on Saturday, picking up another win and another quality start. The veteran righty went seven innings, allowing three hits and a walk without letting a run cross the plate. He struck out five and threw 93 pitches, 66 for strikes. It's been an outstanding season for the soon to be 40-year-old, as he'll take a 13-7 record and a 2.97 ERA with him to the mound for his next start.
