4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright wasn't at his best on Saturday, but earned a win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He tossed five innings, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six. He threw 93 pitches (55 strikes) while improving his record to 3-4 and moving his ERA to 4.22. Wainwright has shown that he still has "it" and should continue to be a solid mid-rotation option in mixed leagues this season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
