7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright (elbow) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Thursday. Wainwright could be cleared to return for the Cardinals road trip this weekend, but nothing is official yet. The veteran righty threw five scoreless innings during a rehab start on Monday. Deeper league owners should consider picking up Wainwright if he's available. It sounds like he will be returning to the Cardinals sooner rather than later.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
