7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright (elbow) will throw a bullpen session in Miami next week, and he could start a rehab assignment with High-A Palm Beach after that if he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Wainwright hasn't pitched since May 13, so he'll need a handful of rehab starts before he returns.
