7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright (elbow) is scheduled to begin a throwing program next week. It'll be a slow process for the veteran righty, who isn't expected to be back on the mound for the Cardinals until sometime in August. Once he does come back, it's unclear if it will be as a member of the rotation or as a bullpen arm. Either way, he won't be much of a fantasy option in most leagues.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
