6 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell is absent from Thursday’s lineup versus the Mets. Second baseman Javier Baez will slide over to shortstop with Ben Zobrist hitting first and playing second base. Russell has picked it up lately and is hitting .316 over his last 38 at-bats.
