6 years agoMajor League Baseball placed Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell on administrative leave on Friday with an investigation of domestic violence re-opened. Russell may not play for the rest of the regular season or even into the playoffs if the team qualifies. He's been a big disappointment this year while hitting only five home runs and dealing with various ailments. He obviously shouldn't be counted on for any fantasy contributions down the stretch.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
