6 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell (finger) remains out of Thursday’s lineup. Russell hasn’t appeared in a game since exiting on Sunday with a middle finger injury. Russell took swings on Wednesday and felt good. It looks like Russell will avoid the disabled list and could return this weekend. Javier Baez will once again be at shortstop and Tommy La Stella will bat second and be at second base.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
