6 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria (oblique) remains out of the lineup on Tuesday. He has been out since Saturday with an oblique injury and it is unknown whether this will keep him out long-term. Willy Adames is filling in on Tuesday and batting eighth against Masahiro Tanaka and the Yankees. Adames is one of the better Rays prospects and would see more time if Hechavarria was forced to the DL. He has struggled a bit so far this season, but has shown power potential and could be worth a pickup in deeper leagues.--Dan Fappiano
