Adley Rutschman Out 2-3 Weeks With Triceps Strain
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman (triceps) has a right triceps strain and will be shut down for around two to three weeks, according to manager Brandon Hyde. Rutschman is baseball's top prospect heading into the 2022 season and has nothing left to prove in the minor leagues at this point, but his chances to be on Baltimore's Opening Day roster are now slim to none. He may not be ready to resume baseball activities after his two- to three-week timetable, though, so don't be surprised if Rutschman is out a bit longer. The 24-year-old is still worth stashing in AL-only and deeper leagues in fantasy drafts since there's still a good chance he'll be making his MLB debut in 2022 once he recovers from the injury.
