Adley Rutschman Sitting In Game 1
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman is not in the starting lineup on Saturday against the Boston Red Sox for the first game of a doubleheader. Rutschman has started the team's last six games -- the first six games of his major league career -- and has hit .200 with a triple, a run scored and five strikeouts. The 24-year-old should be rostered in all fantasy formats already as a high-upside offensive backstop. With Rutschman out in Game 1 of the twin bill, Robinson Chirinos will do the catching and hit eighth against Red Sox right-hander Nathan Eovaldi. Chirinos has gone 12-for-86 (.140) with one home run and eight RBI in 30 games for the Orioles this season.
