Adrian Peterson Finally Has A Day Against Dolphins
5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson carried the ball 23 times for 118 yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins. He was unable to cap off his performance with a touchdown, but his fantasy owners will take it after the veteran failed to reach even 30 yards on the ground in three of his previous four games. While the interim coaching regime headed up by Bill Callahan may want to establish the run, it's worth taking into account this was the first game in which the Redskins were not fighting an uphill battle on the scoreboard since Peterson became the starter. Banking on Peterson to continue touching the ball as often as he did in Week 6 wouldn't be the safest of bets, especially with games against the 49ers, Vikings, and Bills coming up next.
