Adrian Peterson: Now Or Never Against Dolphins
5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson finally has a matchup he can take advantage of in the Miami Dolphins for Week 6. The Dolphins have played one fewer game than most of the league, yet they come into this week having given up the third-most total rushing yards to opposing backs. They're giving up 153.75 yards per game and 4.76 yards per carry. If Peterson can't average more than 2.7 yards per carry against this defense, then, well... Based on what he's done with the starting job in Washington to this point, the matchup alone isn't enough to value him any higher than a flex. But with four teams and a handful of fantasy-relevant RBs on bye, there are worse guys than Peterson to plug into your lineup for Week 6. At the very least, the volume should be there.
