5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson surprisingly totaled 81 yards on 20 carries against an elite defense in a game hampered by bad weather. He was regrettably kept from scoring a touchdown in the loss, as were all of his teammates. Week 7 marked the second straight week that Peterson saw at least 20 carries, which lends optimism to his future value under interim head coach Bill Callahan. The recent uptick in volume will be his only ally in Week 8, as the Redskins venture to Minnesota on Thursday night.--Chris O'Reilly
