6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson has been one of the NFL's biggest surprises in 2018, and has yet to show any signs of trailing off. A fantasy-friendly matchup against the Giants in Week 8 could yield even more reward for those who took a chance on him in the late rounds of their drafts. The Giants have allowed just over 83 yards per game to opposing running backs. Take away the two games in which the Redskins had to abandon the run early, and Peterson is averaging 103 on his own. There's nothing on paper to suggest this game gets away from the Redskins, so look for Peterson to once again receive enough volume to approach 100 yards. He could also find his way into the endzone for the first time since Week 3, as New York has surrendered six rushing touchdowns.--Chris O'Reilly
