5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson is no longer the volume play he was before Derrius Guice returned from injury. For the second straight week, Peterson was limited to 11 touches with minimal production in Sunday's victory over the Lions. This is the new reality of Washington's backfield, as Guice will likely continue to cut into Peterson's volume for the rest of the season. Regrettably, neither looks poised to see enough work to be categorized as a legitimately safe fantasy option. Peterson should be treated as a bench candidate with marginal replacement value in the event of injuries to other players in your fantasy lineup.--Chris O'Reilly
