Adrian Sampson Defeats Mets Tuesday
2 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Adrian Sampson earned his second win of the season Tuesday, outdueling Jacob deGrom to help the team beat the New York Mets 4-1. Sampson threw six innings, allowing no runs on two hits and four walks. He struck out three batters. While Sampson does not have a very high fantasy ceiling, he's gone four straight outings without allowing more than two earned runs. Fantasy managers could do worse than to use Sampson and his 3.48 ERA and 1.27 WHIP as a streamer in the right matchups.
