7 years agoWashington Nationals starter Gio Gonzalez (leg) scared everyone during his third Grapefruit League start on Friday. He grabbed his leg and shook it after a play to first, something that he says he does often. It was indeed nothing and Gonzalez finished up the outing by scattering four hits and three strikeouts while walking one batter over five innings. The only damage inflicted upon him was a solo homer by Jedd Gyorko in the top of the fourth inning. Gonzalez now has a 2.70 ERA over 10 spring innings with six strikeouts. Walks continue to be his troubling trend, however. A career season last year portends some regression in 2018. Buyers beware and owners should consider selling high.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
