Al-Quadin Muhammad Agrees With Bears
3 years agoFormer Indianapolis Colts defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with the Chicago Bears on Friday, according to a source. Muhammad will reunite with head coach Matt Eberflus. The 26-year-old pass-rusher spent his last two seasons in Indianapolis, where he had 51 solo tackles, nine tackles for loss, 19 QB hits, eight sacks and two forced fumbles in 33 games (17 starts). Muhammad hasn't missed a single game in the last three seasons. He's expected to compete for snaps at defensive end with Trevis Gipson in Chicago. Muhammad was a sixth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2017 out of Miami, and he played just one season for the Saints before joining the Colts in 2018.
