3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Alan Trejo was recalled by the team on Tuesday, while first baseman Connor Joe was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque, the team announced over Twitter. Joe was slashing .233/.365/.279 with four RBI and two runs scored over 19 games with Colorado this year, while Trejo had slashed .216/.268/.270 with two RBI and six runs scored over 23 games with the Rockies. The move was likely made to create some middle infield depth with Trevor Story on the injured list, and for now neither Trejo nor Joe should be considered fantasy relevant in any redraft format outside of ridiculously deep leagues.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
