Albert Abreu Recalled From Triple-A
3 years agoNew York Yankees right-hander Albert Abreu has been recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre as part of a corresponding move after both Zack Britton and Wandy Peralta were placed on the injured list. The 25-year-old reliever has a 2.08 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts over 8 2/3 innings of relief with the Yankees this year. He shouldn't see much high-leverage work and can be left on the waiver wire.
