6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with a home run, two walks, and three runs batted in as the Angels dropped an extra-innings battle to the Rangers 8-7. Pujols smacked his 19th home run of the season in the first inning, a three-run bomb that now gives the veteran slugger 73 runs batted in on the season. The 39-year-old continues to hit for power and is one home run short of hitting 20-plus home runs in a season for the 17th time in his career. Pujols is slugging only .377 over his last 15 games but should have a handful more homers to add to his resume by the time the season is over.--Joey C - RotoBaller
