Albert Pujols Inches Up The Home Run Chart
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Monday's 8-5 loss against the Oakland Athletics. The homer was the 642nd home run of his career, sixth-most in major league baseball history. He is now just 18 behind Hall of Famer Willie Mays on the all-time list. In addition, he is up to 2,007 RBI, fourth ever with Alex Rodriguez up next at 2,086. Pujols might not be one of the most feared sluggers in the game, and he isn't even the most feared hitter on his team, but he continues to rack up decent power numbers for his fantasy owners.
