6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols is poised to finish the season strong, slugging .508 over his last 15 games heading into September. Pujols hit his 20th home run on August 31, the 17th time he has eclipsed 20 home runs or more in a season. Pujols no longer is an elite fantasy option but the future Hall of Famer has 82 runs batted in, with an outside chance at 100 for the season. He is having a solid second half to his season, slashing .286/.333/.476 with seven doubles, seven home runs and 38 runs batted in spanning 38 games.
