Alcides Escobar Hits First Homer Of Season
3 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Alcides Escobar hit his first home run of the season Sunday off of Emilio Pagan, going 2-for-5 with a walk and two RBI against the San Diego Padres. Escobar has been leading off and playing every day at second base since joining the team, giving him some value for fantasy managers in need of runs, though he should only be considered in deep mixed and NL-only formats for now. He has a .296/.333/.444 slash line through 54 at-bats.
