Alec Bohm Homers In Win Tuesday
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double in a win vs the Nationals Tuesday. Bohm is now slashing a cool .291/.365/.491 through 16 games and though the sample size is inherently small, it's easy to see why he was the top-prospect in the Phillies farm system. You'd never guess Bohm was a rookie with his strong plate discipline as he has a seven walks to only eight strikeouts and has made hard contact on 47.7 percent of his batted balls thus far. Third base is a loaded position in fantasy, but Bohm should be owned in more leagues than he is. He's a fine option in 14-team leagues and deeper, or as a corner infielder in smaller leagues that utilize deeper rosters.
