4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm went 4-for-7 across two games Friday night with two runs scored and an RBI. The top-prospect is now batting .323 on the season with 17 RBI and 12 runs scored through 27 Big League games. Bohm never maintained a batting average this high in the minors and his average is helped by a .387 BABIP, but other than the batting average Bohm has earned his strong stats. He sports a 50.6 percent hard-hit rate and a 10.4 percent barrel rate through 77 batted balls this season. He also has strong plate discipline metrics with a sub-20 percent strikeout rate.
