2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfield prospect Alec Burleson will look to continue his impressive season for Triple-A Memphis in the second half. The 23-year-old has been having a phenomenal year and has hit a cool .341 with 16 doubles, 16 homers, 65 RBI and a .936 OPS. The Cardinals have had their fair share of injuries in the outfield this season, but Burleson continues to get overlooked. It's a shame with Burleson not having much left to prove, but the Cardinals have one of the best player-development departments in the league and they must still see something for Burleson to unlock at the moment. At this rate, there is no guarantee that Burleson gets promoted this season, but if he does, fantasy managers in all formats should give him a chance.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
