Alec Pierce Could Have Significant Targets

2 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce has slid under the radar early during training camp. There hasn't been much noise surrounding the Colts' second round wideout. Despite that, Pierce could very well surprise people this season. James Boyd of The Athletic believes Pierce could see more targets than fellow receiver Parris Campbell. The expectation is that Pierce will line up as the No. 2 receiver to begin the season. The Colts could be a more pass-heavy offense after mentioning they don't want to overwork running back Jonathan Taylor. The Colts were high on Pierce on draft day, so clearly he's going to be in their offensive plan. He should be stashed in most standard leagues to begin the season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
