3 years agoHouston Astros utility man Aledmys Diaz (hand) was officially placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. The veteran has a fractured left hand, an injury he sustained after getting drilled by a 92 mph pitch during an at-bat on Saturday against Toronto. Nonetheless, Diaz's designation is misleading as he is projected to remain out of the lineup for up to eight weeks.
