3 years agoHouston Astros utility man Aledmys Diaz (hand) will be out for up to two months. Diaz left Saturday's matchup against Toronto after getting nailed in the left hand by a 92 mph pitch. He was initially diagnosed with a bruise. However, further tests revealed a fracture, which is unfortunate news for fantasy managers. Diaz was in the midst of one of his most productive seasons in the majors before going down with the injury, batting .278 to go along with 32 hits, 18 RBI, and 14 runs throughout 115 at-bats.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
