4 years agoHouston Astros infielder Aledmys Diaz (groin) has started taking batting practice again during his recovery from a groin strain. He is also going through running drills. The 30-year-old has been absent since Opening Day. It is unclear what role Diaz will fill once he returns to full health, but serving as the designated hitter may be the most likely option. Even when he returns to the lineup, he is a fringe fantasy asset at best due to a lack of consistent playing time.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
