6 years agoHouston Astros GM Jeff Luhnow told a radio show that infielder Aledmys Diaz suffered a setback in his rehab process. It's unknown how significant the setback is as he works himself back from a hamstring injury that has shelved him since May 27. It was thought that Diaz would return in mid-June as the Astros remain without Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve in their depleted infield, but a date closer to the end of June seems more legitimate. Diaz has hit well this year in Houston with a .286 average and five homers in a utility role and carried some deeper league appeal prior to the injury. For now, Jack Mayfield and Tony Kemp will keep handling middle infield duties.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
