2 years agoHouston Astros infielder Aledmys Diaz (groin) is likely to miss a few weeks, according to general manager James Click. The 32-year-old utility man was placed on the injured list on Aug. 17 after suffering a groin injury during a game on Tuesday. If all goes well and he doesn't suffer any setbacks during his stay on the injured list, then Diaz could return to the Astros sometime in early to mid-September. He's slashing .252/.303/.417 with 10 home runs, 32 RBI and one stolen base over 254 at-bats on the year.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
