3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk had a nice day at the plate on Sunday, going 2-for-4 in the team's 5-4 loss to the Mets. The 22-year-old logged a single and a double to take his batting average up to .255 on the year as he's now 3-for-7 since returning from the IL. Kirk has been out since May 1 with a hip strain and should receive a good amount of playing time with Danny Jansen back on the shelf indefinitely. Kirk has enough upside for managers to take a shot on rostering him in two-catcher formats, especially for those in need of a batting average stabilizer.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
