3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk will be on the bench for the first game of a Saturday doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles. Kirk isn't starting as right-hander Dean Kremer takes the hill for Baltimore. The catcher is hitting .274 with a .355 on-base percentage and seven home runs this season. It'll be Danny Jansen hitting ninth and getting the start behind the plate against the Orioles. The 26-year-old is hitting .193 with a .285 on-base percentage and seven home runs in 159 plate appearances this season.
