3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah was dominant on Monday, striking out 10 batters in the club's 8-1 win over the Rays. The rookie needed just 97 pitches to fire eight-scoreless frames for his sixth win of the season as he allowed just one hit and no walks in the effort. Manoah lowered his respective ERA and WHIP marks to 3.39 and 1.03 while driving his K/BB to 102/31 through 93 IP in his first big-league season. He should undoubtedly remain in starting lineups the rest of the way, especially for his next matchup against the Twins this weekend.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
