Alek Manoah Has Terrific Outing Versus Red Sox Monday
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah held the Red Sox to one run over six innings, but got stuck with a no-decision as his club fell 2-1 to Boston on Monday. The right-hander struck out five batters while issuing one walk and four hits in the 93-pitch outing, but the Jays prolific offense couldn't help him out in this one. Manoah now holds a sparkling 2.66 ERA and 1.08 WHIP through his first 20 1/3 big-league innings and he should be a lock in starting lineups for the foreseeable future. He'll get the Orioles in his next start this coming weekend.
