3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah (back) will head to Florida to pitch a simulated game on Monday, according to Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic. Rather than having Manoah start when he was eligible to come off the IL on Monday, the team is wanting to give him an appearance that they control before he returns, as he has not started since July 9. It sounds like all signs are pointing to a quick return for Manoah, and managers should prepare for him to be back by as soon as next weekend.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
